Emotions in Titus Andronicus

Watching Titus gave me more enjoyment than watching Romeo and Juliet because there are much more action in it. Fourteen murders that happen in Titus promise a good and exciting story and it is hard to say that this movie can be boring for watching.
One thing that is missing to this movie is lack of emotions. The only two roles which are fully accomplished with emotions are Lavinia anad Aaron. This may sound weird because these two roles are like two ends, like good and evil, like virgin and beast., but still I think that Aaron has a lot of emotions and he showed that at the end of movie when he repented for all evils he did. On the other side Lavinia is the major victim of the movie and her gestures in the part after losing her hands and tongue show to audience the sadness in her soul.
I must say I am disappointed with Titus Andronicus because of huge sacrifice he made.Still Titus is one broken life which doesen't see value of living it. Role of Lucious didn't impress me too because I see him as one of the biggest heroes of the movie but actor failed in his role. At the end Marcus was the most positive role in this movie because his thinking and reasoning was on the highest spot from beginning to the end of the movie.

Play Day #1

We had our first play day on September 15th. I must say I am lucky because I got role in Sheakspeare play I like most, Hamlet. This is the only Sheakspeare piece that I both read and watched on television. I like this play because of its story and some roles like Hamlet and Claudius and it will be my honor to act in our class performance.
Also I am very satisfied with my group members because of different types of people we have in our crew. It is often said that diversities make the best combinations and I really hope that we will get a big applause at the end of our performance on November 2oth.
We picked act III,scene III as our acting part primarily because it has enough roles for all group members. The first day was just beginning of our project so we might make changes easily as time passes. My current role is Rosencrantz and Guildestern and my major plan is research of characters of these two guys who act as same person. It is interesting that they don't exist in the movie so it will be a a big challenge to fit them on the stage.
As I said this is just beginning and I am preety sure that there will be many suprises during this project but also I am sure that final result will be at lest very good because my group seems to be very ambitious with this project.

Acting of Romeo and Juliet in the class

Acting of our class members on Wednesday September 10th showed me there is big diversity in understanding and sharing Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Some of the group members tried to accomplish their acting in both ways, mentally and physically. My opinion is that the first group made of three girls did the best job because they were emotionally at the top of the play. The girl who played Juliet was very convincing in her role because she showed us a lot of emotions in her acting. Girl who had friar role was also great in it because she showed a lot of maturity and calmness while acting. This doesn't mean that other groups were bad, against. Other groups showed great reading abilities but their physical acting was very poor(this includes my group, too).
Our first acting experience showed rather our weaknesses than our strengths. In order to correct that the first thing we have to do is focusing on the story of Romeo and Juliet and trying to put ourselves on their spots and spots of other heroes of this tragedy.
