Emotions in Titus Andronicus

Watching Titus gave me more enjoyment than watching Romeo and Juliet because there are much more action in it. Fourteen murders that happen in Titus promise a good and exciting story and it is hard to say that this movie can be boring for watching.
One thing that is missing to this movie is lack of emotions. The only two roles which are fully accomplished with emotions are Lavinia anad Aaron. This may sound weird because these two roles are like two ends, like good and evil, like virgin and beast., but still I think that Aaron has a lot of emotions and he showed that at the end of movie when he repented for all evils he did. On the other side Lavinia is the major victim of the movie and her gestures in the part after losing her hands and tongue show to audience the sadness in her soul.
I must say I am disappointed with Titus Andronicus because of huge sacrifice he made.Still Titus is one broken life which doesen't see value of living it. Role of Lucious didn't impress me too because I see him as one of the biggest heroes of the movie but actor failed in his role. At the end Marcus was the most positive role in this movie because his thinking and reasoning was on the highest spot from beginning to the end of the movie.

Good work and observation of the role of emotion in Taymor's presentation of Lavinia and Aaron. What's the importance of presenting emotion only in these two characters?
